If you have found yourself pondering the above question, this is the video for you. Brian Powell of The Sporting Blog provides video detail of the multifaceted, overwhelmingly efficient and strangely interesting way that arena personnel deal with vomit on the court. It's courtesy of Virginia Tech's Dorenzo Hudson. It may have been bad clams or disgust at the call sending Maryland's Jason McAlpin to the charity stripe, but either way Hudson blew chunks.
As with anything that goes on near our nation's capital, D.C. Sports Bog was there to provides us with the blow-by-blow or, as it turned out last night, the barf-by-barf.
Anyhow, I asked Hudson whether he felt better after halftime."Not really," he said, "but I knew I had to go back out there."
"I feel like I'm about to throw up right now, as we talk," he added," which, using my years of journalism training, I interpreted to mean that it might be a good time to end this particular interview.
Despite the queasiness, Hudson did return to the game in the second half, wearing a different jersey, and nailed a three-pointer which played a big role in the four-point Hokie win.
