Fresh off a month long suspension, forward Jerome Dyson was reinstated to the UConn basketball team and practiced with them. Well, technically it is only assumed that it is Dyson. Coach Jim Calhoun only referred to a a "new player" being at practice and in his remarks never named Dyson by name."We had a very difficult time with our guards creating their own opportunities, so we'll give him a look and see if he can help us at all," Calhoun said Saturday. "Don't know when and if he'll play but we'll give him a look in practice."It seems like a small and petty thing for Calhoun to do. Not use his name or anything specific about him. You can't argue with a Hall of Fame coach, though. This is presumably to motivate Dyson to practice and play even harder to get to the point where Calhoun will use his proper name.
For UConn, this is big to improve their depth. Dyson is surely not starting any longer as senior Craig Austrie has been playing so well and compliments the team better as a starter. Dyson, though, adds depth and has time to be integrated back into the rotation. With four games left against teams not in the upper quarter of the conference, UConn can experiment and get their chemistry correct ahead of the Big East and NCAA Tournaments.

Lets hope "HE" learned somethign from this. AJ Pirce learned from his laptop situation,,,good/smart/relaible players will learn fromtheir mistakes and come out better for having hit bottom,,what "he" did was completely stupid,,completely stupid and selfish,,if he gets defensive and tries to blow it off, he will not play again,,if he is humbled, apologtic and stronger from it, the team will benefit and they should be able to run pretty deep into march
