Yeah, I thought it sounded weird too, but it looks even stranger in this new Nike ad featuring Kobe Bryant dressed as Albert Einstein.
I guess I'm no genius, because this commercial makes absolutely no sense to me. But hey, seeing Kobe act like a mad scientist is always a good time, right? If you want to see more of Kobe playing basketball dressed up as an old white dude (and really, why wouldn't you?) you can check him out getting his Mozart and da Vinci on at his official website.

I guess we know what to expect from Kobe in next year's dunk contest. It would be cool to see him try to take the title from Dwight Howard.

Brett, it's obvious, it doesn't take a genius to realize it: Einstein was Jewish, and Kobe plays with a point guard who is Jewish, Jordan Farmar

What's not to get? The campaign is basically "this shoe is genius".. technology-wise and it gives you the "tool" to be genius on the basketball court..and from what I've heard, the shoes are great performing shoes..
Dwight Howard wannabe? LOL.. the commercials were out/talked about/produced before the all-star weekend.
