Tony Romo Named Fun Fearless Male of 2008, Demands a Punchline
Tony Romo was honored today at a Cosmopolitan magazine party celebrating "Fun Fearless Males of 2008." Dane Cook and John Mayer were also among the honorees. Mmmmm awkward.
When asked what made him a fun and fearless male, Romo responded (no, I am not making this up), "Dane Cook, John Mayer ... if you date Jessica Simpson, I guess."
Simpson-ex Nick Lachey was honored by the magazine last year, so I guess there is something to that.
Well, and as the above YouTube (warning naughty language and really bad guitar playing) demonstrates, you are also fun and fearless if you are an NFL starting quarterback who loves to sing karaoke and grope your celeb girlfriend onstage. Bill Parcells would not approve.

I'm convinced you hate the Cowboys more than you like the Texans.
At least Romo's not choking his girlfrienc. Unlike a particular Houston Texan that I know of.

This is just straightforward reporting of the news. This isn't stuff I made up or anything.
If I were being ugly about it, I would mention that he is fearless because he has no fear of any possible Lachey-Cook-Mayer VD.
BTW, the girlfriend choker hasn't been tendered a contract. By anyone yet.
Have a lovely day.

Well, I can't believe you made it 30 days and several columns without your anti-Cowboys bias rearing its' ugly head. It figures you would stoop to the level of TMZ to make your point...Which was...? Here's my point: Chester Pitts charged with felony evading of police. Jerome Mathis was arrested for choking his pregnant girlfriend. Fred Weary. Chester Pitts. The "hated" Cowboys, (and Patriots for that matter), haven't had a player arrested in years. Not a single name on the "Turd Watch".
What else? Oh yeah. Good luck with Jacques "Toast" Reeves! ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!

Tim-
The main article referenced in this post is from the AP. The YouTube is of an actual event. You might not be happy that your QB conducts himself in such a manner, or maybe you are, but it just is what it is.
If I weren't the FanHouse person writing about this, someone else would be.
By the way, Pitts and Weary had their cases dropped before trial with no charges at all against them because the cases were bogus, and Mathis didn't have his contract picked up. But don't let the truth stop you from some silly rant.
But yeah, at the end of the day, if there is some goofy Cowboy news to report, I won't be adverse to be the FanHouser writing about it. Mostly because of crying Cowboy fans like you.
Have a lovely day,
Steph

I think Romo jilted Steph about 10 years ago.
That's the only explanation I can come up with for her weird, borderline psycho, enfatuation with him.

Interesting theory. But untrue.
Lots of bloggers wrote about this. And I wasn't nearly the meanest. Actually, I thought I was rather kind.
You should be happy that we were about the only sports blog that didn't post the picture of Jerry Jones dancing with the fake Urkel. JJ makes quite the white guy dancing face.
Hey, just embrace the weirdness that is your franchise. Mostly because when you are a fan of a team, you have no choice unless you truly are a bandwagoneer.
Have a lovely one.

STEPH,STEPH, STEPH,
YOU TAKE OTHER PEOPLES COMMENTS TO HARD. NOT ALL COWBOY FAN ARE AS YOU PUT IT, CRY-BABIES. YOUR VIEW OF THE COMMENTS ARE NOT TAKEN AS THE KIDDING AROUND WAY OF ROMO. YOU MADE IT SOUND LIKE HE BELIEVED WHAT HE SAID. THE WEIRDNESS OF THE FRANCHISE CAN BE SET WITH ANY FRANCHISE OF SPORTS AND YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING BAD OR GOOD IN ANY SPORT.
SO, TO LET YOU KNOW, I ENJOYED YOUR VERSION OF THE STORY AND GOT A KICK OUT OF WHAT YOU SAW IN IT. ALTHOUGH IT DID SHOW YOU AS AN ANTI-COWBOY, PLEASE KEEP WRITING THEM. I'M A DEVOTED COWBOY FAN AND WILL ALWAYS BE ONE FROM 1-15 TO THE SUPER BOWL.
