I disagree with his actions, but I also think we need to remember that athletes are still people too. I'm a female and I've done my share of domestic disputes, some were my fault, some were not. I know he has money and some people think he has no worries, but how would u know if ur not in the same situation? I agree that violence is wrong in any way, and think they should get him involved in anger management or something that could help him. We just need to stop putting our athletes and other icons in this state of Godliness and remember that they r just one of us, just publicised.

YOu're BOTH right and wrong above. But guys are NEVER "innocent until proven guilty" in THOSE situations, even if they're striking BACK, unfortunately. He shoulda walked away BECAUSE he had too much to lose, not necessarily because she didn't deserve it. I once had a chick kick in my bedroom door when I tried to "walk away" and then found she hAd ALSO thrown a pair of scissors at a table where my two cats were lying under. I never wanted to snap a chick's neck so much before in my life. But then SHE's in a win-win situation and I can only lose. Simply called the boys in blue (or tan out here) and they scared her with a threatened ride downtown in cuffs if they had to be called back. The next day, I sent her packing, while she begged to stay. THAT's win-win! (Though I really woulda enjoyed putting that scissor where the sun don't shine...where it woulda ended up IF she had HIT one of the cats!)

You know there are very desturbing behaviors in our young men of today . They lack the ablilty of judging right from wrong and especially in the black race they are constantly using mother in front of the F. word which shows how they feel altomatically about their own mothers whose bore them so how can they respect women with that attitude and white men are just as bad cause they aren't taking up responcibility of making sure the family is brought up with a God fearing Father and that could be said of all races we as Americans should go back to our roots of our for fathers and then we might as a nation know how to treat one another

I am shocked to say the least that any of the "men" here say or think that it is acceptable to hit a woman. You should be ashamed of yourself to even think something like that. Would you sit back and allow your mother to be treated that way? Would you laugh about it as you obviously are sitting back and laughing about this? I think instead of spending time answering posts like these, you should spend time in a therapists chair finding out what it is that makes you hate women.
