World's Best Boxer Takes Up WWE, Big Show Throws Floyd Mayweather Out of the Ring

The world's best boxer, Floyd Mayweather, is spending his time in WWE while he waits for another fight of the non-scripted variety with Oscar De La Hoya later this year. And in part of the run-up to Wrestlemania XXIV, where Mayweather will take on The Big Show, the two appeared in the ring together Monday night. The Pardon the Interruption guys discussed:

I don't know how much Mayweather is really getting paid by Vince McMahon to take part in Wrestlemania (I don't believe the stated amount of $20 million), but his presence is certainly getting WWE a lot of free publicity. But is it a good idea for Mayweather to try pro wrestling, or is it, as Tony Kornheiser suggested, an unnecessary risk?

I tend to think there's very little risk associated with Mayweather wrestling. Getting thrown out of the ring looks more dangerous to the untrained eye than it actually is, and as Mayweather kills time before he fights De La Hoya again, there are worse things he could be doing.
