Oral Roberts beat IUPUI 71-64 Tuesday night to win the Summit League and advance to the NCAA Tournament, but the highlight of the game came when the mascots got into a fight:
(Via Fan IQ) Jawz the Jaguar, IUPUI's mascot, has a Facebook page, but I've always been partial to Eli the Eagle, who was hatched out of a papier-mache egg before a basketball game in 1993, symbolizing a new era in Oral Roberts University athletics.
Both mascots were escorted off the court after the fight was broken up.

1. I feel bad for Eli. He got screwed on this one. He was trying to have a dance off when Jaws went crazy and picked him up and body-slammed him, and he gets "relieved of his duties" as mascot. I saw the fight and think it's ridiculous for Eli to be punished the way he is.
