If it wasn't bad enough to have a member of their team trying to stomp out the manhood of the other team's best player, the Spurs had an additional reason to be ashamed of themselves in New Orleans. They seemingly gave up in the fourth quarter, and managed to score only eight points in the period which contributed to their 25-point loss to the Hornets.
Manu Ginobili seemed to have a logical excuse for the Hornets win:
"They were making every kind of shot,'' Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said. "It's really hard to win like that. I don't think we played horrible. We've played worse before. They just executed great.''
While Manu is definitely wrong about the "I don't think we played horrible" part, there is one thing he's right about: his team has definitely played worse. Recently, even. The Spurs managed only five points in the first quarter of a game against the Hawks, so they're not exactly strangers to seeing single digits in their team box scores. A few more performances like this, and Gregg Popovich may just blow his last gasket. I mean, if he yells at his team after a win, what do you think he'll have to say after a game like this one?

Completely biased article and completely biased link to the "stomp out the manhood" video, with the N.O. announcers throwing in their biased views as well.
Find the video from the reverse angle, and the network comentary and post THAT - go ahead, I dare you!
Bowen was stradling Paul trying to get the ball which is totally legal.
Then Paul started thrashing around like an animal and Bowen tried to move to one side of Paul, but PAUL GRABBED HIS LEG!
Bowen finally yanked his leg to get away from Paul.
The refs clearly saw this and assigned the correct foul on Paul. Paul is the dirty culprit on this one and was exposed for it. There was absolutely NO reason for him to grab Bowen's leg (don't say he was trying to keep from getting kicked in the nuts because Bowen's legs were on either side of him, and Bowen didn't jerk his leg away until Paul grabbed it).
Pathetic "journalism" or "blogging" or whatever you want to call this worthless article.
