Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Kyle Turley, who retired after the 2007 season, has never been shy about expressing his opinions. And on ESPN Radio today, Turley expressed some very strong opinions about suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam Pacman Jones.Asked whether Jones should be reinstated into the NFL after serving a suspension for the entire 2007 season, Turley insisted that he shouldn't, saying that he believes Jones was directly responsible for a shooting in Las Vegas last year that left a man named Tom Urbanski paralyzed. Jones pleaded no contest to a charge of conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct, a gross misdemeanor
But Turley said he's personally familiar with the facts of the Jones case, and he said on the air today, "There's a lot more to this story than people want to know. I wish the entire thing would come out and who was there and who Pacman was in cahoots with. ... Pacman was definintely involved with this whole thing and the instigator of the whole incident."
It seems unlikely that Turley actually knows more about what happened than the authorities do, and it seems unlikely that if Jones were really as directly responsible for the shooting as Turley seems to believe, that the authorities would let him off with a no contest plea to a misdemeanor. But what does seem likely is that a lot of NFL players, like Turley, are sick of the way the handful of guys like Jones tarnish the reputation of the entire league.

2. Boy, Turley talking about embarrassing the league is a little like when Merriman gave the lecture on ESPN about cheating, right?

6. Turley, if you are so emphatic about dismissing Pacman's return to the league, and you know so much about what's going on with him, why arent you testifying about what you know, or is it something you are involved or linked to in this whole matter that you wont come forward

7. Is this the same guy who lost a game for the Saints with a personal foul and used an obscene gesture?
Is this the same guy who threatened to kill head coach Mike Martz in St. Louis? I guess that isn't a felony.
Is this the same guy who lost around 70 pounds once steriod testing started?
He is a waste.

8. Kyle who? Oh yeah, Kyle Turley, the guy that tried to rip Damien Robinson's head off and attacked Mike Martz in his office. Great judge of character....at least he limited his bad behavior to the field or team headquarters. Apparently this gives him credibility to comment on Pacman Jones.

10. The NFL needs to get rid of worthless people like this. Everyone deserves a second chance when they mess up but when it is continuous and involves maiming people and beating women (even if they are strippers) the league will be better and stronger without them. For someone who shows their ignorance by claiming it is a "poor black man being picked on by whitey" is a shame and shows why this country is in the shape it is now

11. For anyone who thinks Pacman Jones deserves another chance: A man was paralyzed because of Pacman's actions and he'll probably never get a second chance to walk. Certain mistakes are unforgivable and this is one of them. Before Pacman Jones ever plays another down in the NFL, he needs to take complete responsibility for his part in this incident, which never should have happened in the first place. And if Kyle has information, he shouldn't waste another day coming forward. If he wants the truth to come out, let him make it happen.

12. Let pacman play only if he agrees that half of his salary for the rest of his life goes to Urbanski.

13. Our justice system is a joke. If Pacman was where he belongs, in prison, this wouldn't even be a question.

14. PacMan has served his suspension and should be reinstated. If we have people like Ray Lewis who was involved in a murder wether he actually killed the person or not playing in the league or the Steelers all pro who just beat the hell out of his gf, why should these guys be allowed and not Pacman? Makes no sense. Now if it were set in stone that these offenses came with a lifetime ban then so be it but its time for the Commish to stop making Jones his whipping boy. Set the standards and go from there, dont give one guy a 16 game suspension and one guy a 4 game suspension for the same crimes.

15. kyle turley hmmm what a character listen pacman has issues and he has served his suspension..if turley claims he knows what really happened at the strip club he should step up and tell what he knows if not shut ya trap....and by the way is'nt turley the same player who was suspened for throwing his helmet and various other infractions, his words dont mean a thing

16. Does anyone know what PacMan's actions were in Vegas and whether they actually were the cause of Urbanski's injuries? I think a lot of people are assuming this is a fact when there is no evidence to prove this.
Why does Turley care so much?
I heard Turley's boy from SDSU owns this club ... hmmm perhaps he is trying to shield his boy from potential legal consequences here.

17. This would be so much more exciting if Turley was not such a hypocritical douche. I think if I were him I would keep my head down and mouth, go get some more ink and be a wannabe rocker cuz that guy is lucky to even be associated with the league anymore.
