First of all, I want to applaud ESPN's Dana Jacobson for making it through this interview without cracking up. Or worse, raising her fist and cursing Jesus for all his magnificence and splendor.
Second, I want to applaud Tiger Woods for making it through this interview without calling Jacobson a "jackass" or threatening to break her neck.
Seriously, I love the fact that Jacobson gives Woods an opportunity to apologize for his expletive-laden tirade at last weekend's CA Championship and he instead chooses to laugh it off. Like he's the only guy cursing on the PGA Tour.
Look, golf is a professional sport where athletes are competing at a pretty high level. If networks are worried about Eldrick dropping a few f-bombs, here's a radical idea: don't have a mike in his face from the time he steps on the first tee until he putts out on 18.
Just thinking outside the box here.

2. What do you armchair crtics of Tiger want him to say when a stooge disrupts his golf game and cost him a chance to win a golf touranment? The Isthmus Anthem? I know Tiger regrets swearing but he left off some steam when he got angry with idiots disrupting him. Tiger just find a way to get better at golf dispite idiots bothering you by snapping your picture while playing in a touranment.

3. Its a shame his concentration is so mundane and low that he can hear "click" and it throws off his whole game. He should play under the conditions we play under. Its also a shame he can't play every week, lets see him play under the conditions that they played in back in the 40s and 50s. Take a bus or drive your own car from tournament to tournament not flying in your own private jet and then lets see how many you win after driving and or riding instead of flying. Lets see you survive a car/bus accident and being told you'll never walk again let alone come back and win more golf tournaments. Gee a dang camera click, what another spoiled brat multi millionaire athlete.

5. Nowgolf18 I can bet your level of golf is no where near as you put it spoiled brat millionaire Tiger Woods level of golf.

6. I think tiger is the greatest golf player ever. Yes, even a click could throw you off game. It takes a great deal of consentration to play this game. I would not like any one in my face while I am playing it and I might use the F word too. It sets off steam. . Tiger, is not a spoiled little boy. There ia a lot of stress to this game and I am sure they all use it. He uses his jet to get to the games to keep his strength for the games. If he so chooses to do so as that is not breakng the rules. If he can afford a jet, it is because he has earned a jet. May his luck continue and may he have a happy life. He was the one who got me into looking and watching golf. Go tiger Go.

8. i would love to see tiger really go after some pompous piece of crap snapping pics like that. you know they are doing it on purpose. more power to him. f bombs are probably dropped more on golf courses than any field of play, bar none. from the weekend hacker to the no. 1 player in the world. so get over it and go back to your day jobs, you f$$$$$$ whining babies...

9. Nowgolf18, I sense you have a lot of pent up rage having to do with things that happened to you in life. The things is though, that doesn't give you the right to bash Tiger about something like this, especially not in the way you did. He's the best golfer in the world, and would golf you under the table back in the 40's and 50's, today, or 10 years in the future, whether he was flying a jet, riding a unicycle, or walking to the tournaments. Talk to a phsychiatrist, not Mr. Woods.

11. I remember that sissy tiger telling Davis Love that fan movement and noise was something that Love should learn to deal with. This was during the finals of the match play a few years ago.Why is it ant different for the sissy. I never heard Palmer or Nicklaus cry like this baby. He is the best golfer in the world and he still whines like a baby. Grow up and show some class will you tiger.

12. Again, tiger does not like to lose. He is a sore loser. And of course, sore losers have to fabricate a reason why they lost. I'm sure it had nothing to do with somebody playing a better game than him. What a friggen joke.

14. I believe we have come to EXPECT WAY TOO MUCH from our athletes. They are human and all of us, even them, have a tolerance level for things in life. What is so different about what he said or did than the things players, coaches, managers, etc. say when the camera is focused directly on their mouth?
There are BIGGER problems going on in this country that we never hear the media address, but let someone--particularly a celebrity use the "F" word or whatever and it is ALL OVER THE TV, papers, and magazines.
People have been talking that way since who knows when.
I agree with the one comment that if you don't want that stuff aired on your network then don't put microphones on the individuals.
In short, GET A LIFE!!!!!

15. I think he's "GREAT" any way you look at it. He is well adjustited to being unbelievable "RICH" which is something. You have togive his Dad credit and him for a un-believable job of both raising him, and teaching him the "Sport" Thats a real "JOB WELL DONE" Not like some one useing the TERM" like that to cover up terrible mistakes, and "LIES" Thanks again, "TIGER"

16. Any MORON knows that the golf swing iw a mechinical wonder based on concentration. It is necessary to work the ball. Anyone who snaps a picture during a swing other than on a practice range (maybe) out ot have their chicken neck snapped.
If you can't follow some simple rules of ediquite stay the F- - K out of my tee box

17. What would you do if you were in a important meeting with a client and someone barged into your office singing and screaming while you were conducting your meeting? You would probably be annoyed and scream profanities and threathen bodily harm too! Remember that golf is Tiger's job. He always allows interviews before getting on course and when he is done. Don't bother him while he is 'working'.

18. to all as I rember due to the fact my brother used watched alot of golf. The judges used to ask for silence in the gallary for many reasons above and because it is after all a gentlemans game and that should not only apply to the golfer.

19. Isn't that why radio and television has a 'dump' button...so they can 'bleep' these things out?

20. Are you kidding me?
Why an ant walking across the grass or a cricket making noise throws off my game!
In fact, if the sun shins at less the perfect angle my game is off. If the humidity is a percentage above perfect I'm done. I've got a million excuses, Tiger usually has none!
