John Mayer Is Better Than Joe Buck
"And that happened ... "
The blissfully ignorant voice in the video belongs to John Mayer (yes, that John Mayer, the guy who sings about Daughters and Wonderlands and running through high school hallways), who scored some pretty sweet tickets to one of the opening games between the Red Sox and A's in Japan.
Maybe he doesn't know much about baseball (or maybe he's just acting silly for the camera), but I could totally go for listening him for a game instead of half of the announcers out there who don't want you to forget that they know more about the game than you do. (And besides, Mayer couldn't possibly be more clueless than Gary Thorn, right?)

2. Not that I was looking for the information, but I've read where John Mayer said he isn't a big sports fan.
