Pacman Jones might've played his last game in Nashville this weekend. As still a member of the Titans, anyway. The former first-round pick, on weekend furlough from the NFL Detention Center, participated in a charity basketball game at Tennessee State.
During the night, Jones signed a few autographs along with the No. 21, which is peculiar since he wore No. 32 with the Titans. Deion Sanders wore 21 when he played for the Cowboys although Mr. Pacman says it's just a coincidence:
"That's your idea," Jones said when asked if the 21 autograph amounted to wishful thinking. "It is what it is. I'm just waiting to see where I am going to go."Depending on which rumor you believe, the Titans want a third-round pick for Jones, but the Cowboys countered with a fifth-rounder. The ever-humble Jones, when pressed for his opinion, donned his Matt Millen GM mask and offered this: "I would say a first-round pick if I had to say something, but that ain't up to me."
Assuming this deal gets done in the next few weeks, Jones will still have to be reinstated after serving a one-year suspension for any number of off-field issues. If he's allowed to play in 2008 (and we won't know for sure until later in the summer), he immediately upgrades the secondary and the return game. Dallas could also use their two first-round picks to address other needs. Like, say, a running back, perhaps.

Best case scenario for the league is for Ms. Pacman to get a lifetime ban. Gerald Jones needs to spend less time going after thugs and gangstas and focus on trying to get players in that will help his team get that first playoff win of the millennium.
Ms. Pacman is definitely an upgrade to Irving's atrocious return game, but not so much at CB. I would take Jacque Reeves over this guy. What you guys really need is a safety or two that can run faster than an offensive lineman.

There are no Saints in the NFL unless they play for New Orleans. The Cowboys have had a bad pass defense for awhile. Pacman is worth the risk of a third rounder since that round and later is a crapshoot anyway. Jones should say "Deal!"

Unfortuneately PacMan was never showed how to live life by his parents, for this I'm very sorry. I actually feel very sorry for PacMan, he has no hope of ever straightening out as long as he's rich and famous. If the NFL gives him another chance it will fail. And he will probably take down the Cowboys with him. Actually the Cowboys are one of the most talented teams in the NFL but I view their chances of winning the 2009 Super Bowl as not very good.

By today's NFL standards, the Dallas Cowboys are a bunch of choir boys. They could sign Pac-Man and his entire crew and still be one of the cleaner NFL teams as far as off-the-field issues are concerned. I'm looking at you, Denver Bronco fan.

Well giving him #21 would be a nice gesture to all the Cowboy fans still holding onto a Julius Jones #21 Jersey. Saves them the trouble of buying a new one or the "embarrassment" of wearing an "outdated" jersey.
By the way, name me the last Cowboy who showed up on a police blotter? Not to say they don't make the papers, a few of them qualify as bona fide celebrities and live a very public life. But T.O. has never been arrested, and has been a good teammate since arriving. Tank's been quiet as a mouse. People hate on Romo because he gets magazine covers and blond starlets... but since when does that make him a bad person?
Parcells may be gone, but his culture of discipline remains. There are a LOT of teams with worse player behavior issues than Dallas.

I refuse to watch a Cowboy game if this it true. I think that piece of garbage should not be allowed to step onto any field wearing a uniform other than a janitor one.
I am a life-long Cowboy fan but if this deal happens, I will not be able to watch a game with that man playing.
