You might think J.R. Giddens of New Mexico would be down in the dumps these days. He transferred from Kansas and now they're playing in the Final Four while his college career ended with a loss to Cal in the first round of the NIT. There's also a stabbing, an arrest and a suspension or two to have him down in the mouth but Giddens is too complex for such easy labeling.

"I am what I am. I'm what God created me to be - J.R. I'm sensitive, caring, sharing, smooth, sexy, passionate, gorgeous, athletic, charismatic, charming, unpredictable, mysterious, misjudged and I have a dark side. I can be really defensive and closed off and frustrated."

George Michael from Wham? Steve Lavin needs to spend less time listening to music from the 80's and more time watching repeats of sitcoms from the 90's.
