Super Bowl MVP Giants quarterback Eli Manning is about to get married, the New York Post is reporting. The bride-to-be is Abby McGrew, pictured with Manning at the opening of Ermenegildo Zegna Global Store on Fifth Avenue last month. Few details have been released, but the couple got a marriage license in New York State this week, so that's where the wedding will be.
Abby's father told the Post only, "It's toward the end of April. It's private."
It's been a rather spectacular start to 2008 for Manning, what with the whole Super Bowl MVP and all. Four months ago he was generally thought of as the over-hyped little brother who was turning out to be a disappointment as the first pick in the draft. Now he's a star on the field, and it sounds as though his off-field life is going well, too. Congratulations, Eli.

I don't think many people who aren't Giants fans have changed their opinion.

3. Rarely does "overhyped" and "Super Bowl MVP" go together, but that just goes to show how many morons are in the world today. Gina is just pissed she is one of the fans of one of the 31 "other" teams this year. She is most likely a fan of the Rex Grossman Bears.

4. Ithink Brady is the bigger dork. He is the one the went 18-0 and then choked in the BIG game. Focus on the game and not your love life Brady & Romo !

Dear Ignorant jealous Mr. G.
It has been widely known that Abby McGrew has been dating Eli for the last six years, they are college sweethearts from Ole Miss. It has nothing to do with the Superbowl win. Not everyone is a Tom Brady using his fame and fortune to hounddog around otherwise unattainable women.

8. I never have liked the guy since the draft. I too think he is overrated. But congratulations Eli. You have proven many nay sayers wrong this year.

9. For the life of me I cannot figure out why some comments have to be so insulting and cruel. The man was, in many ways, responsible for the Giants getting into and subsequently winning the Super Bowl. A little respect for God's sake. If you have nothing nice to say...................

13. Why don't these guys get married BEFORE they make it BIG? Betcha he'd still be single had he LOST the Superbowl!

14. Mr. G your comment is one of a really jelious person. Get over yourself...

16. From a Pats fan I say give credit where credit is due . They wont the game and that's the end of that and , the Quarterback is not the only player on the field . It takes a whole team to win not the Quarterback alone ...

17. I am so proud of Eli. I have been a Manning family supporter since his Dad was "Archie Who" at Ole Miss. I am a Miss. State fan but could still admire the accomplishments of a great football player. Being a young girl when Archie and Olivia were married I cut the announcement out of the paper and saved it....Eli's Mother was the most beautiful bride I had ever seen! Good luck to you and Abby from a Bulldog fan!

19. Why are some people putting down a Super Bowl winner
like Eli,who is getting MARRIED, not baby-dropping,
bed-hopping,and model-hunting like another Super
Bowl winner? Where are our values?
