This weekend cleared up the muck of what we can expect to be watching this weekend as the 2008 playoffs start. There's still some uncertainty, but assuming likely results for the final three days of the regular season things start to take shape.Let's look at the East's likely bracket first.
Boston (1) vs. Atlanta (8)Boston will open against the Hawks, barring an Indiana miracle. Toronto and Philly are currently tied, but the Raptors have the tiebreaker and an easier schedule (Miami, Chicago). Washington's set for a rerun matchup against the Cavaliers; the 'Zards can get home court in the series if they finish 2-0 (Indiana, Orlando) and Cleveland loses twice (Philly, Detroit).
Detroit (2) vs. Philadelphia (7)
Orlando (3) vs. Toronto (6)
Cleveland (4) vs. Washington (5)

Now that Gilbert Arenas has returned, I think Washington can be the Cinderella team of the East. Although Boston has to be the favorite, if Washington gets past Cleveland, they could give Boston all they can handle.
