We're into the second quarter ... that Gil shot will resonate, I think. He could've gotten five feet closer. Not necessary, apparently. 1:11: As good a team defense Cleveland's got, not one of them can defend Gil for 35-40 minutes. Daniel Gibson and Delonte West are the only guys quick enough, and neither is smart or instinctful enough to either stay in his face or defend the dribble-drive. He actually might make Stephen A. Smith's prediction come true.
1:14: Hibachi lives.
1:16: I have no idea what Antawn Jamison just said. He sounds like a breeding Brontosaurus.
1:18: LeBron just told Gibson to "run the offense through me." Smart idea.
1:20: Boobie arrives to the 2007-08 season. He might the next Robert Horry, except he's not an a$$hole.
1:21: Unfortunately for Cleveland, Varejao is not allowed to ever complain about a flop ever.
1:24: Varejao is everything which is wrong with the planet. (That's barely an exaggeration.) Darius Songaila gets called for not ceding position to Varejao while Washington's on offense.
1:29: Jamison will be an interesting market case this summer. He's older than you'd like your 4- to 5-year free agent signings to be, but he is really damn good. And he's showing it, with
1:30: Good God almighty. LeBron grabbed that lob from Neptune to put that one down. Simply abusive.
1:33: Seriously, he could've broken his wrist there.
1:38: Jamison has 10 and 10 already.
1:38: Make that 12 and 11. Delonte answers with a three. Haywood sets a tough screen on LeBron as DeShawn races up for a buzzer-beater. LeBron and Haywood shove a little bit. Ben Wallace comes in to agitate everyone. I AM SHOCKED BEN WALLACE WOULD AGITATE A SITUATION! Of course, he doesn't get a tech ... Jamison does for pushing Wallace away.
1:42: LeBron says Washington is trying to play by intimidating the Cavs. What, three body blows from Blatche is intimidation? Pssh. (He has a point. I still can't believe Wallace escaped without a tech while Jamison got one for receiving Ben's shove and offering one back.)
