Doing Lines: In the Time It Took You to Read This, Chris Paul Found Another Open Man

Chris Paul and Jason Terry
Every now and again there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual
lines from around the L. Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.

This is just getting ridiculous: on the heels of going 37 and nine in his playoff debut, Chris Paul poured in another 32 points with 17 (!) assists against the Mavericks. Better yet, the Hornets won handedly, 127-103, to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

These teams have now played six games between the regular season and playoffs, and every time the home team has won. That's good news for the Mavericks, who'll be hosting the next two in Dallas, but eventually they'll have to figure out a way to win at least one in New Orleans if they want to avoid being knocked out in the first round for the second year in a row.

Anyone still think that Jason Kidd trade worked out for the Mavs? Kidd came through with an unimpressive triple-single: seven points, eight assists and four boards. It's like I said on Monday: experience means jack.

Dwight Howard doesn't just own the paint, he has a monopoly on it with two houses and a hotel. He dominated the glass for the second straight game, putting up another 20-20 performance with 29 points and 20 boards. Chris Bosh met him point for point, but Howard had nine more boards than Toronto's entire starting front court. After a slim 104-103 win, the Magic are up 2-0.
