TheDirty.com is absolutely on fire lately, in terms of giving us some controversial photos of athletes getting their party on. First it was NFL quarterbacks Matt Leinart and Alex Smith, yesterday it was Terrell Owens, and today it's retired Phoenix Suns great Dan Majerle. Thunder Dan is pictured hanging out with a young lady enjoying an adult beverage, and this supposedly took place at his restaurant. Not really a big deal, right? Until you learn, from this girl's Facebook page, that she's only 18 years old.
Majerle isn't doing anything wrong or seedy in these pictures necessarily, he's mostly just smiling next to this young lady, or receiving a harmless kiss on the cheek from her. But as you peruse the other photos TheDirty has to offer, you can clearly see this girl chugging down a few brewskis while still hanging at Majerle's restaurant, which could theoretically cause the place to lose its liquor license.
Now I understand that Majerle is likely not the one standing at the door or the bar checking people's IDs to make sure that they're of legal age. But as the restaurant's owner, these pictures certainly aren't going to be good for business, at least as far as the authorities in Phoenix are concerned.

1. I'm going to give Dan the benefit of the doubt. The chick took a couple dumb pictures with Majerle and walked off.

4. Look at these scumbag reporters making a big deal regarding something they know nothing about. Was Dan required to card this girl? Obviously he is not the doorman in his own restaurant. Reporters like this are the parasites feeding off of others. Crawl back to your hole.

7. She's old enough to vote. So what's the problem? If she was under 16, then she's underage. But 18?!
You're reaching on this one.

11. What do we care how and when athletes party??? Are they supposed to sit at home and do nothing? If I was young, famous, and rich, I'd be with so many women, it'd make your head spin! Can't those guys get their groove on without the paparazzi around?

12. sorry, but 18 is not a minor. our troops are getting killed at that age.

13. It is not evident in the photo of who is holding the beer or if it is just resting on the bar..I do not see her drinking, if she was there with friends or family and asked to have a photo with him (as often happens), then no harm, no foul....screw these photo takers and cheap shot artists....

14. This brings to mind the type of paparazzi that helped to kill Princess Diana of England, and to make life worse for people like B. Spears when they try to clean up their lives. As for Dan Majerle, I wouldn't worry about him with the girls. Unlike Matt Leinart, he's kept it discrete if he's been a sleaze. Oh, by the way, Mr, Edwards, are the skeletons in your closet rattling? The statement "what comes around, goes around" does apply to you.

15. Maybe she lied about her age, or maybe she just walked up to him long enough to get a picture. Big deal.

16. The forgot to mention the roofie he slipped into her beer. How could they've missed that! ::eyeroll::

17. Where's the proof that she's drinking beer? It could be ginger ale for all we can tell. Just because it looks like something, doesn't mean that it is. Whatever happened to "innocent until PROVEN guilty" ?

18. "Great caught in situation with minor" - Yet ANOTHER inflammatory headline by AOL, followed by a sleazy, innuendo-laden article, by Brett Edwards - "Hey, look at this - let's take an innocent picture, add a stupid headline, and make this guy seem like a child molester! Wow! Ain't we great journalists?" NO! YOU ARE NOT!!! You are sleaze personified! You make the paparazzi seem like missionaries! From now on, when I see Brett Edwards' name, I'll just click off. And, at this point, I'm seriously considering cancelling AOL! This is just plain stupid!

19. I appears as if she is holding that drink. But if you look at the position of her arm and the position of the drink, she is not holding it. Also, note the position of their forearms, the table is too low for that drink to be sitting on it. Why would someone submit this type of picture if they didn't actually have the whole picture?

20. "Great caught in situation with minor!!" "Fanhouse has incriminating photos!!" Question: what the fu*k is up with the wording of this headline?!? Anyone that clicked onto this news, like me, expected something totally sleazy and illegal. Meanwhile, it's a simple picture of a former NBA player, chilling at his own establishment, posing for a totally innocent picture with a patron that, after intense journalistic research (can you feel the sarcasm?!?),turned out to be just a typical underage bimbo with a fake ID. Was he supposed to double check her ID before he posed for the picture?!? If anything is to come of this, the bouncer at the door will be fired. He messed up, but we all know this has been going on since the beginning of carding. BTW, what is the drinking age in Arizona?!? From all the BS that came from this, I'm pretty sure it's older than 18. Sh*t happens. Dan you're not to blame, granted it is your place. Just get a more competant Bouncer next time.
What a sleazy and misleading headline. Someone needs to smack the sh*t out of the idiot that thought it up!!!
