The Dallas Cowboys recently traded for cornerback Pacman Jones, who is currently suspended by the NFL for a series of off-field incidents That does not sit well with Dallas WFAA Sports Anchor Dale Hansen:
(Via Deuce of Davenport) I'm not familiar with Hansen's work, but based on this video clip, I'd have to conclude that he's unhinged.
Saying the Cowboys should sign Osama bin Laden was supposed to be funny, I guess, but it wasn't. And Hansen clearly wants to make some kind of point about race, but whatever that point is, it isn't expressed coherently. Hansen was clearly reading off a prepared script. You have to wonder why someone at the station didn't stop him from making a fool of himself.

1. Dale was just giving friggin' BIASED opinion. He was not funny at all except to his fellow media cronies. He seemed like he wanted to get some TO-hating off his chest too now that the Cowboys' season is over. How dare Dale compare Pac to Laden? Pac never shot or raped anybody. What a Wanker you are Dale!

2. It's because:
1) He's a bully and hardly anybody outside of the weatherman, former Twins farmhand Pete Delkus, is afraid to take him on. He once threw an on-air fit back in October of 2007 when a producer decided to have one of the anchors announce the Cards' World Championship instead of Dale.
2) He's been at this for well over 20 years so we're kind of used to it.
That having been said, Hansen's point seems to be that the Cowboys don't have any standards as it applies to malcontents. I fail to see the race angle here.

3. Hansen is a troll that probably hates Jerry Jones more than OBL x10.
He will scrutinize any move. He's basically a hack that was highly rated during the heyday of the "Whitehouse" era Cowboys of the 90's.
He desperately needs Pac-Man or T.0. off-field news.

4. This is the kind of jerk that needs to be denounced and soundly rejected. Pacman Jones is without a doubt a bad actor and needs to be kept on a short lease. Hansen however is an inexcusable element in our society that poisons the atmosphere for the wonderful diverse country that we have. Hansen and his element want to drag our great country down for their own selfish purposes. This is the kind of character that refers to Obama as Osama but I've got news for him because once Barrack gets to be president he will have people in the FCC that will deal with this character, Limbaugh,....in the appropriate way.

6. Dale was also the reporter who, a 20 years ago, uncovered and reported on the recruiting violations that led to the SMU football program being handed the death penalty the NCAA.

7. Well, they're both buttholes, but come on! There's something called degrees of buttholitude!

8. Dale was just saying what is true. This owner of the Cowboys seems to always want the ones who character leaves something to be desired. He got Keyshawn, then T.O. and now Pacman. Hope he has a big moral clause in that huge worthless contract. Jerry Jones is building that huge out on price range stadium that he should have paid for not the taxpayers. Wonder how many sell outs there will be once its' open? I like Dale, would rather watch him that the other statios.
