Suns Coach D'Antoni Got Himself Ejected Because Robert Horry Is Still a Jerk

At first glance, it may have seemed odd that Suns head coach Mike D'Antoni would get himself ejected with under four minutes remaining and his team up by 24 points. I mean, what could possibly have been going so badly, right? Well, it appears that D'Antoni was reacting to this questionable play from the Spurs' Robert Horry.

I don't think Horry was necessarily being dirty here, as it's a fairly common play to throw the ball off of someone on the opposing team as you're headed out of bounds. But maybe the fact that he threw it directly at Stoudemire's groin is what got coach Mike so upset.

Sure it may have been an over-reaction, but the coach's job is to protect his team by pointing out questionable plays like that to the refs. And if the coach doesn't protest plays like these, then shots below the belt may just become an all-too-common occurrence.
