University at Buffalo basketball player Andy Robinson posted the following on Facebook last week:"I am paying anybody who have read the book 'there are no children here' by Alex Kotlowitz $30-40 which in some classes you have to read at UB (even more money if you have to read the book a little more!!) to write a 3-4 page paper, on a couple questions which was assigned."
Aside from demonstrating that the University at Buffalo admits students who lack a grasp of basic grammar, the Facebook post has Robinson in hot water with the school, the Buffalo News reports.
Robinson, a shooting guard who was the team's leading scorer last season, has been suspended indefinitely from the team. The school's Office of the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education will determine whether there will be further discipline. The school also released the following statement from Robinson:
"I realize I made a mistake for which I take full responsibility and realize I must regain the trust of my teammates, fellow student-athletes and coaching staff. I have brought disappointment in myself and the university and for this I am truly sorry."Somehow I think he had help writing that apology.

As the first line in that Buffalo News article correctly points out, it's called the University AT Buffalo. Not 'OF Buffalo.'

No wonder their students are such morons; they can't even get the name of the school right.
The University AT Buffalo? What kind of nonsense is that? No wonder they suck at everything.

I agree that he had help with the apology. But even that had an error when it said "I have brought disappointment in myself and the university and for this I am truly sorry."
The best I could do to clean that mess up would be "I have brought great shame on myself".

Do you really think people check their Facebook for grammar errors???
He should have gone to the local frat house? They have all the papers and tests you need.
