Chris Paul was feeling so salty Saturday night in NOLA he even got in this great jab at The San Antonio Spurs Modus Operandi (via RealClearSports). The one minute, seven second mark is the best view.
Don't think he was trying to get Bruce Bowen, a practiced defendant, T'd up. Clearly, Paul wanted to offer an indictment of the wooly ways of Bowen, Manu Ginobili, and Fabricio Oberto. How better than parody? Performance art show daps for Paul.

1. I used to be a big Spurs fan back when they were the only capable force of even attempting to stop the terrible force of Shaq and Kobe. But now....
Hack-a-Insert Name. Really? thats not basketball. Flopping? Really? Is this the game of the best technical team? Is this the way of the FUN(damental) Bunch?

2. Mike, if you replay the video, Paul is the one who raises his arm, not Bowen. Now I hate Bowen, he pulls some downright nasty things on the court, but flopping is something I really disagree with. I feel like their should be a review panel which meats out penalties for flopping players--every three clear cut offenses a player is penalized a one game suspension. I know sometimes players must "act-out" or exaggerate a foul in order to receive attention, but something has to give on the actors.

3. I think Bowen was raising his arm to bump him and Paul was too quick for him. He even gave Bowen the "I see you..." point.

4. I can't stand either player but CP3 is starting to get on my nerves. It seems to me that the main part of his game is trying to get fouled and force the referees to have more of an influence on the game instead of just playing and letting his game speak for itself.
Don't get me wrong, I respect Paul's game, he can score and set up his teammates with the best of them but his whining and finger pointing has got to go!

5. No one mentioned Bowen undercutting CP3 in that game. Bowen's good at breaking ankles of the top players or drop kicking them in the face. CP3 better be careful at how he lands or Bowen could KILL his career with just one undercut.
This is the way the Spurs aka the Sterns play. Fabricating fouls and perfecting the FLOP. It's too bad the game plan in all of the other teams has to change because of it.
NO don't drag this out or your players are at risk of being injured. Although it'd be priceless to watch the Sterns die a slow death. It'd be best the Hornets beat them fast or it'll get really ugly and bloody because of the street ball mentality the Sterns have= win at all cost.
Hornets will sweep or in 5
Hornets vs Lakers in WCF Hornets win in 6 or 7
Hornets win Championship
No Eastern team can compete with the West this year again.
