Welcome to the Premier League, West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City. Hope you survive the experience.

The two clubs won automatic promotion to Premier League on Sunday after finishing 1st and 2nd in the Coca-Cola Championship, England's second division. West Brom will return to the Premier League after a two-year absence, while Stoke enters the top flight for the first time in 23 years. Each club can expect to earn an extra £35 million in TV revenue next season.

Meanwhile, our pals at The Run of Play would like to remind us that while Stoke supporters are ecstatic today, fans of La Liga champions Real Madrid and Bundesliga champs Bayern Munich are too disappointed with their European performances to enjoy their domestic success. I guess it's all relative.
