Things sure seem to have been heating up lately as far as the possibility of Suns' current head coach Mike D'Antoni being employed elsewhere. The Bulls and Knicks are said to both be interested in his services, with job offers being pitched by at least one of those two teams. But none of this matters to Steve Nash, as he fully expects his coach to return to Phoenix next season.
"This is the last thing I'm going to say about our coaching situation: Mike's my coach," Nash said. "So I expect to see Mike back here next year. And I know there's a lot of stuff going on right now, but Mike's my coach. I love playing for him. I expect to see him back in October."
I don't think Nash is delusional, I just think he was trying to say the right thing by endorsing his coach, and also trying to keep it positive in what are extremely uncertain times in the desert. I think if he were being completely honest though, he'd have to admit that at this point, D'Antoni's return as the Suns coach seems very unlikely.

1. The Suns are stupid if they let D'Antoni walk away. The 1st round playoff exit wasn't his fault. (Steve Kerr sucks!)

2. Kerr should be the one to go.

3. We need normalcy back in Phx., please come back Colangelo's. Kerr is not a Sun and doesn't have the mentality to run the Suns. He is going to make the Suns another Ho Hum NBA team. Get rid of Amare for three young, fast, big players with defensive skills. A moron could get that deal done, but maybe not Kerr. Amare is useless, no matter how many points he scores, he can't stop anyone. Sarver, it was a sad day for Suns fans when you took over our team. I don't know how you made so much money, because you sure don't know anything about basketball. Kerr is blowing smoke up your A.s.s. You might want to take a good look at Bell also, I don't know how he made all defensive team, he can't stop anyone anymore either. He also is too inconsistant scoring, as far as I'm concerned, send him down the road too. Sarver, if you make these changes, we may finally win a championship and don't forget to apologize to D'Antoni for your brain freeze, you have come to your senses and let Kerr go back to San Antonio. The way you are headed, you are going to lose your fan base, as tight as you are, I would think you would have looked at that. I am a 24 year fan and if your man Kerr's plan takes effect, I will be moving on, that's sad, but you and Kerr don't deserve the true Sun's fans.
