As FanHouse's Ryan Wilson noted, the transcript of the CBS News interview with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick was written in ALL CAPS, as if Belichick had shouted his answers. As it turns out, the video shows more sneering than shouting:
Belichick had a look of contempt on his face as he described Matt Walsh, the former Patriots video assistant who has been the central figure of the Spygate story of the last three months. But he did admit that he screwed up.
"I made a mistake," Belichick said. "It was wrong. I was wrong."

1. He sure did have a look and he should. Matt Walsh is a complete wanna be loser, his history in college points to his integrity and his getting fired points to his vendetta against the Patriots and Bill. He is nothing, useless he has had his 15 minutes of fame now go back to Hawaii and clean some golf balls.
I have known guys like this guy and they are pathetic. They live in a fantasy and think they are something they are not.

2. Walsh was fired and has a huge chip on his shoulder. He never had any authority and doesn't know what he's talking about. Can't imagine why he was fired. Bad attitude maybe? A wanna be? The world is full of people like him unfortunately.

3. Too bad Bellicheat wasn't the one fired. Mistake? Mistake? A mistake is when I call one of my kids by the wrong name.

4. Matt Walsh had an axe to grind against his former employer and wanted his former boss to take the fall for Matt's poor performance on the job.

5. Bill Belicrap is a joke ! Before Walsh turned over his tapes Belicrap wasnt sure what to say . But now that Coverup Goodell has declared the issue over ..he rips him. Hmmmmmm

6. It's a typical response by a guilty low life person like Belichick, to lash out. You got caught, and Roger Goodell burned the most damning evidence for you. BE THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL FOR ONCE you poor excuse for a human!

7. Mr Belichick is trying to shift the heat over to Mr Walsh. It doesn't matter if he was a substandard employee and wanted to get even because he was fired. The issue is Mr B broke the rules and has given the NFL and the NE Patriots a hugh black eye. Frankly I think he should be fired. I appauld Mr Walsh and the Senator that is ordering a special investigation. The fine wasn't enough. Why did the commissioner destroy the first tape? There is a cover-up going on. Bill

8. Matt Walsh (and his attorneys) are aiming for one thing and one thing only: A BESTSELLING BOOK KNOCKING THE PATS. Walsh was and is a nobody looking for an angle to make money; and believe it or not, because of all the jealous Patriot haters out there and all the idiots like Arlen 'The Senator' Spectre he just may have pulled this off! Wake up, you fools, Bellichek did nothing that other coaches weren't doing too. And it was all legal until 2007.

12. You people calling Walsh a nobody, he must of been a somebody or he wouldn't have been illegally taping other teams defensive signals for five yrs. I personally think you Pat fans are nobodies.
Posted at 7:27AM on May 17th 2008 by Joe
13. Pats fans, ask yourselves this question. If you know that taping the other team is illegal, and you don't really gain any advantage by doing it,then why would you?relax, you cheated, you got caught.

14. Ok, that's right, let us take up for the cheaters and liars. That happens alot be it in politics, corporate world, etc. Mr. B. is no Forest Grump. Mr. B is a smart man and did not get where he is today without some intelligence. However, unlike Forest, Mr. B. lacks integrity. Win at all cost appears to be his motto. If and when caught, make the ugliest faces possible, along with angry remarks and perhaps people may be intimidated. He won't intimidate everyone! Mr. B. is wrong and should be fired. Mr. Walsh went along with the Okey Dokey and doesn't deserve any play as well.

16. They should have a Congresional Hearing on Spygate. Bellacheat is lying. Call on all of his assistants, including Weis, who knows that Bellacheat is lying and send Bellacheat to Jail with Clemens.
