Broadcasting Lesson 17: Don't Use YouTube Near an Open Microphone

An exceedingly strange moment from the broadcast booth at Yankee Stadium last night. During the third inning, Michael Kay and Ken Singleton are discussing Orioles hitting coach Terry Crowley and we'll throw it over to Yankee Stadium Insider for the video (it's a bit NSFW):
That disembodied voice saying calling Crowley "lucky he's in f------ baseball" isn't coming from Kay or Singleton nor their producers nor anyone even in the stadium. It's coming from a classic rant by Crowley's former manager Earl Weaver (full version here and a lot less SFW) that, I guess, someone was watching on YouTube while the game was going on.

I'd say it was pretty unprofessional but to get the audio about Crowley to come across just as they were discussing Crowley is pretty impressive. Nonetheless, I'd imagine there will be stricter regulations about internet usage around the Stadium today.
