The Patrick: Do you care if he smokes pot?Cuban also said he doesn't believe Howard smoked during the season and revealed his team has had players for whom smoking pot became a performance issue. Cuban said those players were removed by trade or waiver.
Cuban: I'd be a hypocrite if I said 'yes' because I've inhaled, and when I inhaled I coughed a couple lungs out. And so I was never a big fan of smoking, but if I've tried it I can't look at somebody and say, 'How can you try it?' That's just terrible. [...] Again, I'd just be hypocritical if I said, 'Josh, smoking pot is just the worst thing you could possibly do.'
It doesn't sound like Howard will face punishment from the team (a good thing, in my eyes), but you still wouldn't be surprised to see him moved due to the team's actual performance issues.

This shouldn’t even be an issue, if weed came in a bottle marked Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb or Dupont Parmacuticals it wouldn’t be eleagle at all, but since the big companies don’t hold a pattent on “tree, cheeba, or the Ganga” we still toss athleets out on their ass’s look down on them for smoking and lock up anyone who has more than a joint. The time for testing for herb past its day along time ago. The medical uses alone should merit that, the fact that harder addictive drugs are used by team Doctors every day to get players ready to play or for pain is rediculous.. If you want to bring up the “roll model” aspect. If you didn’t tst for it no one would even know who was smoking and who wasn’t.( unless ofcourse your High enough to admit to it on Dan Patricks radio show….

You should hear the rest of the interview. The stuff on the Cubs was nuts! Also, Barkley said he wasn't going to gamble for the remainder of his tv deal...4 years.

Of course Cuban smoked weed. One doesn't usually suffer major brain damage without some outside impetus!

I have a feeling that Howard will be out of the D within a year's time. Sure, Cuban is backing his star, but this marijuana issue might make Cuban a bit quicker to listen to offers.

Cuban is trying too hard to be likeable to his players. Doesn't matter if he smoked, smokes, or plans to smoke in the future. An NBA player who smokes is not going to be at his best, period. You pay a guy the maximum for him to be at his best.

Based off Murph207's pathetic spelling, I think it would be a safe bet that he's inhaled once or twice

well i really cant wait til the goverment lifts the ban on weed i mean come on this is old news and the only people not wanting it legal are the goerment agencies who benefit from busting the drug dealers and keeping their money if this money was to be distroyed like the drugs are bet they wouldnt be that worried about it then and the drug companies well the drug companies just dont know what or how to do anything with it and would lose billions in revenue to people switchin to pot for pain releiver and nasua stopper.
