John Paxson was knocking on Kobe Bryant's door in October. Next thing you know, Larry Hughes is the savior. Meanwhile, in May, Pax had a clear shot at Mike D'Antoni before the franchise mucked things up and led Mike D to believe THE NEW YORK KNICKS! would be a more stable situation.
