Police charged the player, Rannord A. Jones, with several offenses, including assault and terroristic threatening. Said Police Cpl. Trinidad Navarro, "The player was so enraged that he just savagely attacked the official, biting him almost in an animal manner about the chin."
There have been no reports on the condition of the referee, whose name has not been released.
Said one witness of the attack, "You just don't bite somebody like that." Apparently you do if you're Rannord A. Jones.

Maybe they can tell his ignorant Momma that it's a red card, not a ticket! He should be banned from ever playing again.

I can understand his frustration, but that's pushing a bit far past the line. He was given the red card for a reason. Someone tell him to fucking deal with it.

To bad they can't lock up his b-i-t-c-h mother too, she raised this animal. After criminal charges i hope the ref sues him in civil court. He should also be banned from sports the rest of his life. I hope he gets a long prison term. It is just a game and everyone should learn to enjoy it as such. Some people just don't belong loose in society.

They can always seem to find this type of stories about the negative behavior of Blacks but For some real violence go to YouTube.com and search "ice hockey fights". See the real deal. That violence doesn't seem to interest Fanhouse, Aol, or the national media. Wonder why?

From what I've seen of US refs, I'm sure the ref deserved it. You don't go around biting people for no reason. That ref should take the hint and retire.
