Aaron Rodgers Wants Fans to 'Get on Board Now or Keep Their Mouths Shut'

Great news for those of you who can't get enough of the "Aaron Rodgers: the next Brett Favre or Lynn Dickey?" angle, Sports Illustrated will have a feature on the future of Packers football. Yep, I can't wait, either.

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette's Jeff Ash, the article will focus more on the likelihood Rodgers fails, what with history being what it is.
... [I]n addition to taking a few clichéd shots at Green Bay and Packers fans [the SI piece] puts Rodgers right down there with Marty Domres, Richard Todd, Cliff Stoudt, Brian Griese and Jay Fiedler. All those veterans share their horror stories of following Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, Terry Bradshaw, John Elway and Dan Marino, respectively.
Could Rodgers be a flop? Sure. He could also be fine -- he's been in the offense for three years, and has looked good in limited duty. And more importantly, perhaps, Green Bay will have a lot of talent around him, and the defense is one of the best in the NFC.

But for those of you worried that all this talk will somehow affect Rodgers ... well, don't:
"I don't feel I need to sell myself to the fans ... They need to get on board now or keep their mouths shut."
I'm pretty sure Rodgers didn't okay that with the Packers PR people, but, apparently, if you're not with him, you're against him. Duly noted, sir.
