I read MJD's headline at Shutdown Corner and just figured some enterprising soul had uploaded a video of Bill Belichick actually operating a video camera on the sidelines last season, or maybe we finally had visual proof that the Unabomber was in the stands during the Rams Super Bowl walkthrough, or perhaps someone uncovered more evidence that William the Great really gets off on pushing photographers.
No, no and ... no. This footage goes back to the '90s, when Belichick was coaching the Browns. And after an otherwise totally predictable throttling at the hands of division rival Pittsburgh, the Cleveland head coach, apparently fed up with it all, makes his way to the locker room after the game. But before he gets there, the Steelers' Greg Lloyd offers to shake his hand (as humans often do -- you know, as a common courtesy) and awkwardness ensues:
Shocking, I know. I mean, this is the same guy who LaDainain Tomlinson accused of "having no class", and who also left the field before Super Bowl XLII had ended, but well after the Patriots' fate had been decided.
Somebody get Senator Arlen Specter on the horn. I think we just found a reason to reopen the Spygate investigation.

Dave, you and intelligence obviously don't go together either.
Your ignorance regarding the move is only the beginning of your idiocy.
The NFL has allowed cheaters to prosper since your Steroid Steelers finally pulled themselves out of 40 years of football ineptitude by inserting syringes into each others asses.
You sir, are a dumbass.

Cleveland and class seldom go together. You would think after decades of getting wiped out by the Steelers and others, the Browns would be used to losing. That goes for their original team that left town due to lack of support and their current intramural expansion team.
Had Lloyd gone ballistic, as he usually did in the day, maybe we wouldn't have to deal with the fact the the NFL has a proven cheat holding SB championships they did not earn on even ground. Cheatin Bill talks a good game, but would have lasted about 5 seconds with Lloyd.

Wow,
Look at all of those facts brought up by the Cleveland fans. Let me help you out......
1) Cleveland has won nothing since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House-IN Any Sport!
2) You never hear the competitive teams from the 70s crying about steroids, only the bottom feeders (look in mirror now)
3) No major player from the 70s SB teams were disciplined for any performance enhancing drugs
4) The family responsible for your team moved it after the fair weather fans failed to provide enough financial support to be competitve. NFL owners knew in advance but were in agreement with the move.
5) 5 Super Bowl wins for the Steelers-how many for Cleveland?
6) Compare records over the last 2 decades
The truth hurts, and the facts don't lie. What is worse, if the Cubs win it all this year, which is a possibility, then your entire city will inherit the title of LoserTown.

1)True,but team completely dominated prior to 1965 - 2)False - 3)NA - 4)Utterly False - 5)1 fluke SB in the last 30 years - 6)Mostly expansion years. Nobody posted anything stating the Browns were some kind of elite team.Who the hell are you arguing with and why?If you don't like the Browns fine, but why slander their fans for no particular reason?Nobody said a word about the Steelers until you started blabbering. Now take your dumb ass to your own boards and shut the F@#$ up.

Oh Dave... where to begin.
1) Your only correct statement in that paragraph. We haven't won jack, but still sellout. That lack of support issue doesn't come up much though...
2) No one is crying about steroids? How about one of your own?
http://www.amazon.com/False-Glory-Steelers-Steroids-Courson/dp/0681411872
Why are they all dropping like flies? Notice heart failure as a main cause.
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/search/s_462321.html
3) Steroids weren't a banned substance, but that wasn't being debated until your reading incomprehension reared its inbred head. The fact is, the Steelers used them, and beforehand hadn't won squat. In fact, they were yearly doormats.
4) Obviously you are a mental midget, Cletus.
5) Professional football did not start in the '70s. The Browns won 8 league championships from 1946-1964 and were conference champs 11 out of 20 years from 1950 to 1969.
6) Thats right, only compare records during the years that support your argument.. if thats what you call what you are trying to do.
Browns franchise record: 424-360-10 (.540) – 10th
Stools franchise record: 513-498-21 (.507) - 17th
You are right about one thing - the facts don't lie. They illustrate that you are still an asshat.

Hello losers,
Where to start...I will use small words to help you out
1) Since when was Steve Courson the star of the teams that won 4 Super Bowls? He was a special teams player and a backup OL. Any proof that the starters used steroids...that would be a no.
2) Every time a Steeler star from the 70s dies, it is news. Every time a Brown dies, no one remembers they even played in the NFL and it never hits the paper. Joe Montana (he was good, so you never saw him play in person) is spending most of his time now trying to help NFL players with health issues as linemen die on average in their late 50s. Use your fingers and toes and do the math.
3) Can you name all the teams that have moved despite support fron the fans and the city? That would be NONE. Grow a pair and admit you lost your team because the team lost support. That family is responsible for all that ancient history you refer to.
4) Pro ball started a long time ago, and the Browns were once good and the Steelers usually horrible. Most of us not suffering from dementia do not live in the distant past. The NFL speaks in terms of the modern era, ie the Super Bowl years, and rarely goes back to those old days of past. Are any of you old enough to have gone to a game where the Browns won anything? Were any of you alive?
5)The post was filed under Browns, Steelers and NFL fans and has video of a Steeler. It is fair game.
6) Cheer for those AL teams in the World Series, as they will likely be playing the Cubbies. If the Cubs win, every time anyone does a piece on losers it will focus on you.
7) The last time I saw a Browns fan, he was horizontal after a beautiful clothesline. How appropriate!
So long losers......................

1) According to you, every Steeler player is a star! But just to humor you, here's your favorite good 'ol boy testifying on my behalf.
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/25350278/
2) Nothing said here to dispute the FACTS that your steroid stars are dropping like flies.
3) The most recent example: The Seattle Supersonics. Teams do move because of poor management and greedy owners.
4) Changing the name of the championship game means nothing to me. The difference between the Browns dominance of the 50s and 60s and the Steeler's teams of the 70's is years. They were champions and thats all that matters.
5) Sure.
6) I could care less about baseball. How 'bout them Butt Pirates though! Looks like you guys pack the stadium to see them light it up!
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance
7) Is this who clotheslined him?
http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/enchilada105/PittsburghSteelers.png
I like how you didn't even try to debate the facts presented. At least you know your place.
