Wow. You don't hear LaDainian Tomlinson go off like this very often. On the field after the game Tomlinson had words with some of the Patriots' players about their celebrations on San Diego's field, which mocked Shawne Merriman's dance. During his post-game press conference, Tomlinson had this to say:"When you go to the middle of our field, when you start doing the dance that Shawne Merriman is known for, that's disrespectful to me. And I can't sit there and watch that. And so, yeah, I was very upset. And just the fact that they showed no class at all. Absolutely no class. And maybe that comes from their head coach. So you know, there you have it."
With that, the Chargers' PR person ushered Tomlinson out of the room. I'm not sure what Tomlinson has against Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, but if the Patriots lose to the Colts on Sunday, that means Belichick will be Tomlinson's coach at the Pro Bowl. That could be awkward.

LT, a normally stand-up guy, is the classless one in this situation. Sure, maybe the Pats went a bit too far celebrating at midfield, but to come to the defense of Merriman who is not only a cheater but openly dissed the Pats several times over the past week, well it's sort of like the pot calling the kettle black. Good for LT for trying to stick up for his teammate, but it seems like sour grapes to me. He should really be mad at his own coaches for not handing him the ball more down the stretch.

What a big baby... Tomlinson, the true "LT" goes by Lawrence. There were plenty of times during the game that the Chargers were showboating ALL over the field... can you say Florence?
Fact of the matter is, Tomlinson is just a big baby who cant take the fact that the better team won. Have a nice offseason LaDanian.

I thought L.T. was a standup guy too until I saw the Patriots tried to shake his hand out of repsect od his talents and his commments about Bellichick
LT has a lesson to learn...there's always a winner and always a loser, and you have to learn to be both to run with the big guys. No matter his talent, he personally has a long way to go as a respected athlete.
He's a disappointment , no matter how good he is. I've lost all respect for him and I'm sure many others have. Grow up LT

first let me say that Bill Belichick has always shown class. L.T. is not very classy making a comment like that. i guess it's ok for his team mate to dance in other peoples stadiums when they win but not ok for someone that wins in S.D. to dance at their stadium. maybe the NFL should look into their players before giving them the MVP award. LaDainian sure didn't act like an MVP after the game when he stormed off the field.

I'm a huge Pats fan and I don't think there's was anything wrong with the Pats celebrating. The game was emotional. LT needs to go cry to someone else and be a stand up guy. This situation just shows his true character. A sour loser and a big baby!!!!

What a game! I am a Patriots fan and the better team lost. LT was and is obviously distraught because the better team lost. Coaching does mean everything, like pitching is everything in baseball. Ultimately, LT is the one with no class. If Belicheck had the talent of SD, he would have won 44-7!!! Go Pats.
