No.TeamPickPos.
1. Team McLovin (Mighty MJD) (SD) LaDainian Tomlinson RB
Why this guy: - So, I took Tomlinson. The appropriate reaction from the rest of you would be to just quit right now, because Team McLovin domination is assured.
Herrera says: - Can't go any other way. LDT is the first pick. It's a no-brainer and you'd be laughed at if you didn't take him.
You say: - I believe LT2 for MJD will lead him to this year's title. - BootsyLD / The same exact thing was said about Ricky Williams and after Ricky broke the TD record he never had a good season after that. Tomlinson is going to end up the same way, you can take my word on that and when he does suck, I say they trash mighty MJD. - dallas4life04
2. Sweet loco vibe (Marissa Silvera) (SF) Frank Gore RB
Why this guy: - The U baby! He's got heart!
Herrera says: - Definitely surprising pick at No. 2. Steven Jackson was the pick here. Gore's still dealing with a hand injury and I think his physical style may catch up with him this year.
You say: - Frank Gore may have heart, but heart won't stop an injury-plagued year. - wvudanks
3. da Chumps II (DJ Nestrick) (STL) Steven Jackson RB
Why this guy: - Sitting in my chair with the first frosty brew of the day in my hand, torn between LJ and Addai, Steven Jackson falls to me at #3. I will take it with no complaints!
Herrera says: - Action Jackson falls right into D.J.'s lap (not literally). He was my No. 2 pick without question.
You say: - Jackson at pick three is a gift from the fantasy gods. - bootsyld
4. Art Monk for Hall of Fame (John Schaefer) (KC) Larry Johnson RB
Why this guy: - I'm not too optimistic about L.J. after his holdout and past heavy workload, but I just can't pass him up.
Herrera says: - Questions abound for L.J. with rust, weakened O-line, and new QB - but Herman Edwards will pound him for another gigantic workload. Good pick here.
You say: - LJ will be just fine. He's been working his butt off in Arizona. - BootsyLD / I like the reference to Art Monk. I still can't believe the guy has not made it into the Hall of Fame. Just look at his career stats. - hightower94
5. Husky DawG (David Cole) (IND) Joseph Addai RB
Why this guy: - Love Addai's upside another year in the colts system. He is younger, stronger version of Edge James.
Herrera says: - I can't disagree with that. Many would have opted for Shaun Alexander here, but I'm an Addai lover as well.
You say: - Addai should be a top 5 running back at seasons end. Great pick! - emmit8422
6. Tuck Rule (Bryan Tucker) (IND) Peyton Manning QB
Why this guy: - I don't like to take QBs in the first round, but Peyton is a beast. I don't care about his playoff schedule.
Herrera says: - First surprise of the draft. This league does give 1 pt. per 20 pass yards and 6 pt. for TD, so it's justified, but I still think it's a bit too high.
You say: - In a 6 pt per TD league, Peyton Manning is absolutely the pick at 6. Or anywhere in the first round. - bootsyld
7. Bklyn Boy (Mike King) (PIT) Willie Parker RB
Why this guy: - Over 1,700 total yds.last season. TD production has improved every year.
Herrera says: - I like the pick, F.W.P. is very solid here and I think he will have even a bigger role in the passing game this year.
You say: -
8. SonsofGibbs (G.E. Branch) (STL) Marc Bulger QB
Why this guy: - this draft is officially over ... "Down goes Frazier."
Herrera says: - I like Bulger a lot, but I am stunned. My jaw is still agape just like Frazier's was after he hit the canvas.
You say: - Drafting Bulger 9th is like drafting Josh McRoberts before Kevin Durant - wvudanks / I still cant tell whos the bigger retard. The chick who took Frank Gore or the guy that took Bulger? Ok...its Bulger. I wish you were in my league pal. - bigtime93 / Bulger, Bulger!! Are you legally retarded? You're banned from fantasy football. - lagbsportsfeind
9. Woulda Coulda Shoulda (Jonas Voss) (SEA) Shaun Alexander RB
Why this guy: - I wanted Peyton Manning, but no luck there. I may be lucky getting Alexander with 9th pick if gets back to '05 form - he's right there with LT and LJ.
Herrera says: - Alexander's should be refreshed and fell into his lap all the way down at No. 9. Nice pick.
You say: - I would have loved to get Alexander at 9 in my draft - jim99mo
10. Tshimanga Biakabutuka (Tom Herrera) (PHI) Brian Westbrook RB
Why this guy: - Yeah, he always seems to be on the "questionable" list every friggin' week, but I can't doubt the guy's versatile ability to pile on the yardage, and McNabb's back.
Herrera says: -
You say: If Herrera comments on pick #10, does the world implode? - burtwest2001
11. The Bandit (Emil Morrow) (CIN) Rudi Johnson RB
Why this guy: - Solid performer and will make it through the season without an arrest.
Herrera says: - I can't guarantee the no-arrest part, but you can't go wrong with Rudi here. Rock solid.
You say: - Rudi will put up nice numbers this year, as will all the Bengals...excluding the defense - wvudanks
12. Fadeh Busi (Neal Scarbrough) (NE) Laurence Maroney RB
Why this guy: - I've got the 12-13 picks in two AOL drafts so far ... My vengeance will be Sundays....But someone is still getting fired.
Herrera says: - Nice pick at No. 12, I'm drinking the Koolaid a bit too. High expectations for Maroney as the sole Pats back.
You say: Maroney should be fine but how fine with Brady's new toys? - yamaharider1228

nyflyguy2084 05:57:22 PM Aug 27 2007

How is the #1 WR for the Vikings still available?

His name is Bobby Wade!

Are Any Of You Thing>> Roscoe Parrish WR? JIM

I'm sorry Vince Young before Fitzgerald. No wonder he's called loco.

dtflchamps 04:30:03 PM Aug 27 2007

Got to wait a while to see Busi blow two more picks Like the Maroney pick, then he slumped off with Browm. Not too bad with Lee Evans, but this team will stink!

dtflchamps 04:24:18 PM Aug 27 2007

I think the Giants coaching staff has been intrigued with Jacobs for three years, will be interesting to see what he can do with 20-25 touches/game.

SPON000 04:24:00 PM Aug 27 2007

Nice pick with Portis in the 4th. It's like finding a hundred dollar bill on the sidewalk!

BootsyLD 04:23:00 PM Aug 27 2007

That defense pick completely illegitimized this service's fantasy football endeavors.

dtflchamps 04:22:33 PM Aug 27 2007

Busi...you must have stunk so bad last year that you weren't paying attention after week 8. Losman was 5th or 6th in the NFL the last 8 weeks.
