rocky marciano was italian forgot about him didnt you !retired undefeated beat ali in the computer fight when ali and rocky sparred ali couldnt lift his arms up for a week.rocky was 45 years old then! and he also knocked out alot african american like archie moore,joe louis,ezzard charles ,jersey joe walcott,so i guess he was the best,dont forget carmen basilio beat robinson,so did jake lamotta,graziano wasnt bad either all italians they i guess are supioer!!!!!!!!!

olsonbabble; you really dont know what your talking about, hopkins is a joke and always will be, heres a little trivia for you, did you know hopkins in all his defenses when he was champion, never, EVER!!!!!, had a million dollar fight!!!!!!!!!!!! how bad is that, I dont blame any of the fighters abroad for not coming over, they never get a fair shake and always is at the short end of the stick as far as scoring, before mayweather knocked out hatton, did you know that every judge had mayweather winning EVERY SINGLE ROUND!!!! I saw the fight and it was close, and every round, come on, thats why they dont want to come over, remember the german kid came over kicke the crap out of delahoya and they gave the fight to oscar what a shame

Hopkins isn't a legend? Really Joe? What does that make you? Because you've been talking about retirement for a while now, but you just fought a guy at least 7 years older than you, completely failed to hurt him at any point in the fight, allowed him to dictate what kind of fight it would be, and the only time anyone got even a little stung all night was when HE knocked YOU down in the first round! Yes, I agree you won (basically by volume punching like Kassim Ouma), but in completely uninspiring fashion. Jermain Taylor managed just as well as you did against Hopkins. Maybe you should line up your next fight with Taylor, you might be on the same level. You certainly don't have the kind of wins over impressive opponents that Hopkins has. Let's see where you are in 7 years, Joe. Somehow I don't think you'll be as successful a fighter as Hopkins in that regard.
