Outrageous Ozzie
A-Rod the 'Hypocrite'
Guillen took the game's best player to task for his waffling on whether to play for the Dominican Republic or the U.S. in the first World Baseball Classic. "Alex was kissing Latino people's asses," he said of Rodriguez in an interview with Sports Illustrated. "I hate hypocrites: He's full of [expletive]."
Outrageous Ozzie
Weight Watcher
When Miguel Cabrera's expanding waistline became a hot topic in South Florida last summer, Guillen chimed in. "I'm a little upset with him," he said of his countryman. "When you're not hitting .340 with 40 home runs, they're going to call you a fat boy from Venezuela. You'd better lose some weight."
Outrageous Ozzie
The Sacred Cubs
A recent losing streak set Guillen off on a long rant about the rival Cubs and the media. "We won it a couple years ago, and we're [expletive]. The Cubs haven't won in 120 years and they're the [expletive] best," he said. "We are the bitch of Chicago. ... We have the worst owner -- the guy's got seven [expletive] rings."
Outrageous Ozzie
Countrymen Clash
Guillen and fellow Venezuelan Magglio Ordonez were all smiles here, but they engaged in a bitter feud in 2005. After Ordonez called Guillen his "enemy," he responded in typical foul-mouthed fashion. "He's a piece of [expletive]," said Guillen. "He better shut the [expletive] up and just play for the Detroit Tigers."

No Relief From Ozzie
It didn't take relief pitcher Sean Tracey long to get into Guillen's doghouse. Guillen berated Tracey in the dugout after he failed to hit Texas' Hank Blalock in retaliation in June 2006. He was demoted to the minors following the game and hasn't pitched in the majors since that season.
Outrageous Ozzie
Insensitivity Training
Following the Tracey incident, Chicago Sun-Times' columnist Jay Mariotti criticized Guillen, giving him fodder for his most infamous rant. He called Mariotti a "piece of [expletive]" and also used a homosexual slur to describe the columnist. He later apologized and was forced to take sensitivity training by MLB.
Outrageous Ozzie
FCC Beware
When catcher A.J. Pierzynski complained about being taken out of the lineup last year on Chicago radio, Guillen called into respond and unleashed a flurry of expletives. "Oh, shut the [expletive] up," he told host Mike North. "There's no reason for you to make lineups and [expletive]. I don't care what A.J. thinks."
Outrageous Ozzie
Not the Sentimental Type
Guillen didn't get sentimental when asked about a 20-year reunion for the 2005 World Series team. "We're all crippled and [expletive] up, pushing wheelchairs,'' Guillen said. ''I don't need that bull. A bunch of fat guys, another one is broke. 'Hey, where's your ring?' 'Oh, I don't know, I sold that son of a bitch.'''

Controversy Blows Up
The White Sox's attempts to break up a slump recently was seen as "tasteless" by some. Players brought two naked female dolls into the clubhouse, propping one of them up with a bat. Guillen defended it saying "if people got their feelings hurt . . . they don't really know much about baseball."
Outrageous Ozzie
Getting 'Personal'
Guillen is no fan of umpires, but he and Phil Cuzzi, pictured, have clashed twice since last July. Guillen accused Cuzzi of having a personal vendetta against him this April saying "if you don't like me as a man and what I do, I can respect that. But if you don't like me and you're going to take it out on my players, you're wrong."
Outrageous Ozzie
Putting Out a Hit
Guillen got in trouble when Freddy Garcia plunked Delmon Young in his first major league at-bat just months after he threw a bat at an umpire. Guillen denied ordering a hit after the game, but tacitly admitted that he had done it before saying "even when I order my guys to hit batters, they don't."
Outrageous Ozzie
Rauch-y Rant
Current Nationals closer Jon Rauch angered Guillen when he went down to the minors and told coaches there Guillen had forced him to pitch hurt. "What? He goes out there and loses games and doesn't tell me he was hurt," he said. "You [expletive] put me in a position like that? ... That's why his ass was out of here."
Outrageous Ozzie
Commenting on Clemente
Guillen caused a big star last month when he told Joe Morgan he thought Roberto Clemente was only the third best player to come out of Puerto Rico, behind Roberto Alomar and Ivan Rodriguez. Rather than being profanely defensive, Guillen said "that's my opinion, it doesn't have to be the right one."

Showing Love
Guillen's celebration of Chicago's 2005 World Series title included an awkward kiss with his son that got plenty of play around the blogosphere and elsewhere.
