I watched all of Edgar's career. He played all of his career for the Mariners and started at third base. Because of injuries he was moved to DH and then just settled in. Maybe the DH isn't for the purists but if it extended the career of a true gentleman and a true professional hitter like Edgar then it was worth it. To have had the pure pleasure of watching Edgar hit to all fields, hit for power, work pitchers like a puppeteer was just plain FUN. He was a master and should be in the hall as soon as he is eligible.

Edgar should get into the hall of fame.

"Don Baylor and Harold Baines both were Orioles, but yet they were shown in the uniforms of other teams. Why?"

Each played maybe 4 full years in Baltimore out of 18 year careers. If they went into the HOF (although neither quite qualifies) Baylor would go as an Angel and Baines a White Sock(?)
