      Stanford Hires Former Duke Legend

      Johnny Dawkins is named head coach of the Cardinal after 11 seasons as an assistant under Mike Krzyzewski. The former All-American guard succeeds Trent Johnson, who left for LSU. Dawkins finished his career in 1986 as Duke's all-time leading scorer.
