Feb 28, 2008 - Killings, who broke his neck in September in a game against the Indianapolis Colts, said Thursday he will retire. The 310-pound Killings fractured his C-4 vertebra Sept. 23 during a violent headfirst collision with Indianapolis receiver Roy Hall in a 30-24 loss to the Colts. He was unable to move any of his limbs immediately after the hit, but was standing and walking a day later.

Sep 28, 2007 - Killing was discharged from the hospital Friday. He was wearing a neck brace, just a few days after fracturing his vertebrae during a headfirst collision with Colts receiver Roy Hall on Sunday.
Sep 25, 2007 - Killings was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, ending his season. Killings remains hospitalized as he recovers from a fracture of his C-4 vertebra from a headfirst collision with Indianapolis receiver Roy Hall on Sunday.
