Apr 2, 2007 - The Jets officially announced the signing of Bowens on Monday. The defensive end reached an agreement on a three-year deal with New York late last Tuesday night, agent Harold C. Lewis said. The contract is for $6.1 million, with an additional $2 million in incentives that could make it worth as much as $8.1 million.

Mar 28, 2007 - According to the Miami Herald, Bowens signed a three-year deal with the New York Jets. He was a backup defensive end for five of the past six seasons.
