Feb 16, 2007 - The Buffalo Bills' budget for the next season will make re-signing Clements very difficult. The Bills have budgeted $30 million to spend on free agents and Clements is seeking a deal that would pay him $18 million in bonus money alone. Clements is a six-year veteran and one-time Pro Bowl selection. His agent has said that his client intends to test the market and would re-sign with the Bills if they made him a competitive offer.

Feb 8, 2007 - Clements, a key to the Bills' defense, plans to test free agency next month. His agent, Todd France, told The Associated Press on Thursday it's in his client's best interest to pursue free agency once the period opens March 2. France added that Clements is open to re-signing with the Bills if the team makes a competitive offer.
