You won't see the NFL's outstanding talent competing in Beijing at the Olympics. But that doesn't mean they don't belong on the same stage as the world's fastest and strongest athletes. AOL Sports continues its own NFL Summer Games with an event that separates the men from the boys -- weightlifting. Who among the league's brawniest would hoist the most weight? And who from the league's past was the strongest of them all?
      The Contenders
      Casey Hampton, Steelers
His credentials: He can bench 600 pounds and squat 800 pounds, which helps explain why this nose tackle is almost impossible to shove around. If you can lift all that weight, you deserve the bling that Casey shows off in this video.
      Jake Long, Dolphins
His credentials: One of the league's newest players, the No. 1 overall pick might be the strongest rookie. He did 37 reps of 225 pounds at the scouting combine.
      Igor Olshansky, Chargers
His credentials: This defensive tackle dropped jaws at the 2004 combine when he benched 225 pounds 41 times. In college at Oregon he set a school record with a 505-pound bench press. Watch the video and decide for yourself if you could handle Igor's workout.
      Sam Rayburn, Dolphins
His credentials: He once squatted a staggering 960 pounds and has done 38 reps of 225 pounds. "My strength has always been my biggest asset," he once said. No duh. Still, he might not be quite as impressive as this former star ...
      Blasts From the Past
As the above video shows, future Hall of Famer Larry Allen might not be a human being. His lifting feats are legendary, including a phenomenal 43 reps of 225 pounds to win the 2006 NFL Strongest Man Competition at the advanced age of 35. As a younger man he became a weight room god by regularly hoisting 700 pounds or more ... Tony Mandarich never lived up to his hype, but there's no denying the man was an All-Pro with a barbell in his hands. "The Incredible Bulk", as Sports Illustrated once called him, has always denied that steroids helped him bench-press 545 pounds. Maybe it was his 12,000-calories-a-day diet? ... Speaking of 'roids, former Steelers lineman Steve Courson was upfront about his use of them before he died in 2005. How much did they help him? Well, he once bench-pressed 605 pounds.
