I don't want my sports teams to have to bow to the media. The media wants TV whoring and compliance from these football players and coaches. When they don't get what they want, they cause a ruckus or create a distraction. It would be really great if they would just do their jobs and come to interviews and press conferences prepared and focused. This game is not about them. They are not the story. I don't want to hear about what these reporters do, what they wear, what they drive. Who cares? Do your job! Goodell handed out the verdict and the Patriots dealt with it, just like everyone deals with reprimands. Getting everyone fired up is what caused that kid in NH to get killed. The media is boosting ratings, sensationalizing headlines, making something out of nothing because they don't control what they want to control. Think for yourselves!! You gonna print this AOL? they wait a year and let them destrot the tapes that showed how bad this really was. i bet the pats dont win a s.b. for decades now.a good team that had to cheat to become great.

Look here ambermoris....you have selective hearing ....so ill tell you again what Jimmy Johnson( former cowboys coach with 3 superbowl rings) said ....after the patriots were accused he admitted to doing the exact same thing and said in now way did it really help on the field.....now go back to sept and review your tapes again and dont make foolish comments on this board

ok so this pretty much proves that it wasn't a big deal...so why are people still insisting that the Patriots are cheaters?

nobody focuses on the 18 games they won in a row while under the microscope, or on the fact that theyve won 3 of the last 7 Super Bowls and 4 of the last 7 AFC Championships... just the first 8 minutes of the season. The Giants won the Super Bowl on a miracle catch that was allowed ONLY BECAUSE OF THE REFEREES STOPPING THE CLOCK WHEN THEY SHOULDNT HAVE

Geez, those Patriots cannot come clean and show the evidence that they DID video opposing coaches signals. Any idiot could of made the tape that Specter was shown. I bet the Patriot organization was smirking. They cheated and everybody knows it. They got what they deserved.......a loss to end their season.
