The pack should activate him and if he has any guts he would fight for the no 1 job in training camp and may the best man win. Since when does the gm say who is going to be the starting qb isnt that the coaches job?????????????????

Favre has been the face of the Packers for many a year. Their Lambeau stadium renovation wouldn't have been possible without Favre's presence. He plays the game with all the verve of a much younger man. He is highly respected by his teammates and players of other teams. He is a competitor par excellence. He was solely responsible for the Packers offense until the emergence of Ryan Grant last season. Favre is a legend and the Packers should give him the chance to be the starting QB. He is a proven commodity while Rodgers is not.Favre's tenacity to overcome injuries and his willingness to play hurt is a testimony to his love for the game. Packers management should welcome him back.

Brain dead with a dead arm....he will end up like Johnny "U", wearing another teams uniform and looking like a foolhardy, sad old man.
