Don't waste unnecessary logic on those whose greatest joy in life is stirring up the pot of ignorance. I know who I am; Venus and Serena Williams know who they are. I don't have to justify myself and my values; nor do they. When it comes down to the moment in which they stand before God, He'll say, "Well done."

Sadly, racism is still alive and well in America, Americans of Africa descent face this bias daily. No matter how well they perform, compete, work, research or simply live there is a great number of people who will always find someway to disrespect or ignore their contributions to this country. Good jobs ladies, you represent the US well and I for one am proud of you. As we celebrate our nation’s birthday it would be nice to see us become more inclusive in our comments. Someone once said America is a great nation that will never be destroyed from without but if they are not careful it will be destroyed from within.

GreatrRacists comments like your have no place in the world. What don't you get? They simply were better than everyone else in the Tournament. Black men don't view either of these two women as men? You should investigate why you do...is hate all that you have to offer? Can you even hit a tennis ball?

With the William "sisters" in the finals there will be two men's finals. Why can't the women have a tournament finals?
