So based on these criteria, who's the best sports announcer on national TV? Help us decide. AOL Sports put 32 of TV's best sportscasters into a tournament, and we're now through to the semifinals. SEMIFINAL ONE: BOB COSTAS vs. SUZY KOLBER
The Skinny: An interesting matchup if there ever was one. Costas edged out James Brown in the finals of the studio host bracket, while Kolber shocked the world by defeating - or trouncing, rather - the "sexiest" name in sports broadcasting, according a recent Playboy poll, Erin Andrews. Either way, this one should also be a dogfight, as it pits the thinking man's announcer against the announcer men think about. Vote for your favorite.

This one's a battle of the juggernauts, as each is arguably the best known in his discipline. Who will move on to the finals against the Costas-Kolber winner? That's for you to decide.

I hate listening to Bob Costas talk about sports. Hes very intelligent and competent, but needs to take his talents somewhere else. I could definately see him as a serious news journalist. Al Michaels is without a doubt the best. Works well with anyone they put with him, great play by play announcing, experience and knowledge. Excellent timing and its needed now more than ever since he started working with Madden who is not a great communicator but has a great range of knowledge, the coaches perspective, and an all around entertaining style. I do agree with the above comment that he is a bit repetitive though. Aaron in Fayetteville, AR GO HOGS!
