Have you had it with bad sports announcing? Are you still miffed that the "expert" calling your team's game both mispronounced one of your reserve's names and botched the score, all while making a bad pun? We feel your pain. And we're here to help. Using a field selected by AwfulAnnouncing.com, we've put together a fan-voting tournament that will determine the worst sports announcer in the biz. Read AwfulAnnouncing's breakdown, then vote for the announcers you think should advance (i.e., "stink the most").

someone up there said chris berman is "awesome"? that should be awful. from his annoying voice to his cro-magnon head to those terrible puns on player's names, he is the most annoying thing on tv. half the time i can't even tell what he's talking about.

"big ben Rothles-gimme another ham-burger passes to hines--want some ketchup on your hotdog? ward, i think you should have a talk with the boys . . . " he should be shot.

i love stuart scott, sometimes i dont know what the people who set up these brakets are thinking. I like at least half of the people in this competition. They make their shows very enjoyable.

All of todays announcers seem to believe they know everyhting about sports and they never SHUT UP!!!! They try to fill every moment with their knowledge, whether its right or wrong. A few moments of silence every now and then, with only the ambient sounds of the stadium would be nice.

I am a Cowboys fan and definitely NOT from New York. Still, I like Tiki Barber as a host, because his personality shows through. He's not trying to be some robot. Why would we want to watch if every host was exactly the same. The personalty thing goes for Emmitt Smith and Shannon Sharpe and makes their comments interesting and entertaining enough to last as hosts. Even Berman could...go....all...the...way with his little nicknames etc that make him who he is and got him to where he is in braodcasting.
